Since the 1960s, Monk's has earned its place as a staple of Missoula counter culture, providing a venue and support for hundreds of events celebrating music, arts, and diversity (credit: Leif Fredrickson, Unseen Missoula). Although Monk's has changed significantly since then, the commitment to showcasing creativity in a safe place remains steadfast.
